Iona Presentation Primary School, as a loving community, seeks to educate each child within a framework of Catholic values in an atmosphere of trust, openness and truth.

At Iona, we aim to provide opportunities for students to develop confidence, take risks and solve problems.

We offer a full sacramental program and weekly Eucharistic celebrations in the school chapel. Everyone at Iona is encouraged to conduct their daily life in a manner which reflects the teachings of Jesus.

Visual and performing arts are highly valued at Iona and all students experience Art, Drama, Music and Dance.

Our students are well prepared for the challenges of high school and their future adult lives.

A Play Date At Kindy

Our Kindy Mums were pampered with free cuddles, hand massages and a sweet little treat to show them how much we care. The children were so excited to bring their Mums to Kindy and their lovely Mums joined in with the fun. Happy Mother’s Day!

MAC ATTACK AT IONA!

As we are aware, the 21st Century is very much a digital age. Education is now making enormous use of digital technologies and as part of that, more and more learning environments are now accessing the benefits of these advancements. In order to better prepare our students and give them every advantage educationally in the future, our school introduced a 1:1 laptop program for students starting in Year 4. The girls have been very careful with their Macs and have throughly enjoyed this wonderful learning opportunity. We thank Miss Nunes and Mrs Du Toit for embracing the technology.

Christmas in Africa - Iona makes a difference

Through the generosity of the entire school community we were able to collect 37 boxes, filled to overflowing, with wonderful gifts of stationery, toys and personal hygiene items. These have been delivered to the charity organisation, "Samaritan's Purse" who will ship them to underprivileged communities in Africa.

Iona families do make a difference. Thank you for your support.
